According to the news published by the Japanese magazine Nikkan Gendai, a live-action series based on the game Lost Judgment is under construction. According to Kotako, the series will be produced for broadcast on Asahi Television and is currently known as Sabakarezaru, meaning The Unjudged. The report also adds that the production team has an initial plan to make a film with the Lost Judgment series.
However, the making of this film is not yet certain. Nikkan Gendai also mentioned that Takoya Kimura, Actor and voice actor of Takayuki Yagami, who appeared in Judgment and Lost Judgment, will play a role in the series. Kimura is currently starring in BG Personal Bodyguard, one of Japan’s most popular crime dramas, but it is said that he has no interest in returning to the series’ third season.
Lost Judgment is actually a spin-off of the Yakuza series, which follows the story of Takayuki Yagami, a private detective investigating murder and harassment cases. Judgment was released in December 2018, and following its success, we saw the release of Lost Judgment in September 2021. Sega is also expected to make the third installment of Judgment.
