Soda 51, the creator of the No More Heroes game series, is in talks with Marvel to create a new and original Marvel game.
According to the latest game news, Guichi Soda known as Soda 51, CEO of Grasshopper Manufacture Studios, recently announced that he is in talks with Marvel to work with them to build a new game based on this world. It also looks like Marvel Soda 51 is separate from the other three Grace Hopper studio projects to be released in the coming years.
Soda 51 has long spoken of his desire to make a Marvel game. He said in an interview in the summer that he would like to build a new game series based on characters such as Deadpool, Shatterstar and QuickSilver. The creative game developer, who has the No More Heroes series in his repertoire, has now revealed in a new interview that his dream has almost come true and that Marvel has agreed to sit down with him to make a possible new game.
“From now until a few years from now, we want to build three new IPs and release them one by one,” explains Soda 51. However, I have also said that if the situation arises, we would like to create IPs that are original and attractive. I think the making of such a work will depend on the outcome of our negotiations with Marvel.
If Marvel came up with an interesting idea [برای ساخت یک بازی جدید] If we raise it, we will think about making it. Sorry I said this in a top-down and arrogant tone! I was joking! But we had a few meetings with Marvel and talked about the possibility of making a new game together. “We hope that the power of video games will help us to have more such opportunities.”
As mentioned, Garshopper Studios is set to build three original IPs over the next 10 years and deliver them one after the other. Of course, Soda 51 is currently working on five different projects, and it seems that his possible Marvel game is not one of them.
