Wolverine voice actor Cal Dad has announced the start of production on the X-Men ’97 animation with the release of a behind-the-scenes video.
One of the most important and surprising events of Disney Plus Day in November of this year was the introduction of the X-Men ’97 animation for the Disney Plus network. This animation is actually a direct sequel to the X-Men animation that was released in the 90’s and achieved great success and popularity. Cal Dad, Wolverine’s voice actor, recently posted a video on Twitter in which he is reprinting his role as the popular Marvel superhero for the X-Men ’97 animation:
Cald has previously appeared in X-Men: The Animated Series and Marvel Vs. Capcom voiced Wolverine’s character, and he tweeted that he was happy to be back for Wolverine. He also shows the number 3 with his fingers in the picture, which is a reference to the number of Wolverine’s forks, and of course, Logan’s name can be seen on his jacket. In addition, in the X-Men ’97 animation, we are going to see the return of other voice actors of the original animation, and of course, new voice actors will also be present.
The X-Men animation aired between 1992 and 1997 and is very popular with fans. X-Men animation has been produced in 5 seasons and 76 episodes. Bo Demayo, The author of The Witcher series and the anime The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf will appear as a thriller and lead writer in the X-Men ’97 animation. No further details are available on the X97 Men animation, but it is expected to be released by Disney Plus in late 2022 or 2023.
